Roses From Reagan

The Roses From Reagan Foundation began from the experiences of our daughter, Reagan Lahr. Reagan was born in April, 2011, she suffered severe birth trauma, which resulted in cerebral palsy (CP). Reagan’s CP was not diagnosed until 2012, and through physical therapy, meetings with doctors, and observation of her abilities, in July, 2014 we discovered that Reagan was a candidate for the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery. This led to us applying to St. Louis Children's Hospital’s SDR program to see if Dr. Park would approve Reagan as eligible for the surgery. He did, and she was. On November 18, 2014 our lives changed forever. Dr. Park performed Reagan’s SDR surgery, and she is now able to walk without the aid of a walker or crutches, and Reagan loves to run. Not all children that are eligible for SDR surgery have the resources to elect to have this amazing opportunity; to that end we have created Roses From Reagan Foundation. We are focused on helping children with cerebral palsy, and we are raising money to help children and their families with the cost associated with Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery, physical therapy, orthotics and continued research. With your support we will be able to help change the lives of children similar to Reagan! Daniel and Kathryn Lahr
